Had an awesome time with Guy Skinner.   Thanks for letting me spill my beverages all over your boat.   Seriously, with the wind, cool weather and overcast skies, I didn't know what to expect as far as fishing was concerned.   But you were able to find the fish and convince those fish to bite.   Thanks for all the valuable info about the lake.

Joe

Guy,  Just wanted to say thank you for an enjoyable fishing trip on Cedar Creek yesterday.   My dad, brother and I had not been able to fish together in a while and I appreciate your efforts moving around to multiple locations to keep us on fish.   I learned from your electronics expertise and we won't soon forget the rather large jig swallowing buffalo that gave us a little excitement.   Thanks for being a good sport on the jig practical joke with Mr.Carroll.   Congratulations on your Lund Pro Staff deal and the new boat. Hope to fish with you again soon.

Thanks, Mark

Went fishing with Guy today and we tore them up on Grapevine.   I learned so much from him today.   It's amazing how big of a difference the minor details, often overlooked by fisherman like myself, can make in catching a few fish to over 30.   I'm getting the grease hot right now.   Thanks again Guy for all of the knowledge that you have so graciously imparted to me.

James Saturday I had one of the most enjoyable days fishing I have had in a long time.   At the outdoor show I met a man named Guy Skinner briefly and asked for his business card.   He told me he took out fishermen and also provided instructional services.   Anyway, I contacted Guy and went out to Ray Roberts and we slayed the crappie...it felt as if Guy and I had been old fishing buddies...he was extremely knowledgeable about fishing crappie and put us on fish.   Anyone starting out fishing would benefit from hiring a knowledgeable guide like Guy to get a strong foundation for fishing trips in the future.   Definitely worth it.

ANYONE INTERESTED IN DEVELOPING THE SKILLS NEEDED TO CATCH CRAPPIE SHOULD INVEST IN A GOOD GUIDE/INSTRUCTOR.   GUY IS AN EXCELLENT CHOICE IF YOU WANT A RELAXED BUT HIGHLY INFORMATIVE AS WELL AS PRODUCTIVE FISHING TRIP.

Just a note to say many THANKS for your hospitality, wisdom, knowledge, and dedication concerning our fishing trip yesterday. 5-15-04.   I certainly enjoyed ever minute of it.

GUY WAS THE GREATEST GUIDE TODAY.   I REALLY ENJOYED SITTING IN THE BACK OF THE BOAT AND "JUST FISHIN".

ERNEST

To those of you who are wondering about Guy's guide services.   Go....Now !!!   Book a trip.   Don't cancel and just go.   You will be amazed at what he can do and what he can and will teach you.   It WILL make you a better fisherman.   Don't worry about what lake, whether it's Grapevine, Lewisville, Ray Roberts...just go.   It's like going to an 'on the lake seminar' where you get to catch fish too.

I can't wait to try what I've learned in the future.

Thanks again Guy.

Guy thanks for a great trip - it couldn't have been better - I've never been crappie fishing before when we caught so many quality fish.   Good company, good trash talking, had a lesson on how to properly set the hook, got rained on, learned a lot, caught plenty of quality fish.   It doesn't get any better.

I just wanted to thank you for a great day of fishing.   I enjoyed your company as well as the fishing.   I would also like other people to know there is a big difference in guides.   The last one that I fished with, put himself on the fish, and cast where I would have to wait to keep from crossing him.   You actually tried to stay away from 'my space', and wanted Robert and I to catch the fish.   I appreciated how you physically held us in place by holding on to the trees and stumps so we could fish.   You know we caught over 100 fish, counting the trash fish (bass) that we threw back.   Anyway, I had a great day of fishing.   Thanks a bunch and God Bless You.

Just got back from a GREAT trip with Guy Skinner, need I say more !!!   A little story first.   He calls Friday to tell me the fish have really been slow to none and wanted to know if I still wanted to go on Saturday, which I said sure I was going for an education and fish was just a bonus, that's why it's called fishing and not catching.   We get to the lake early Saturday, winds up a little, and head out.   By 9:00 a.m. we have 12 in the cooler and still going strong.   This man really worked hard all day going from dock to dock and brush pile to brush pile, all the time giving me all the things he's looking for and what we had to do to catch fish.   I learned more about what to do and how to do it today in a few hours than I ever knew from trial and error that I have been using all along.   By the end of the trip I took a cooler of fish home and a powerful amount of information.   I know the education alone was outstanding and I got the bonus of fish to go with it.   I now know I will be able to fill my cooler up a lot more often than ever before.   I also got to meet Ernest (he was out fishing, hard to believe that, lol), that was another added bonus.   If you want to catch fish just tell Guy what you need and you to will be able to catch more in the days to come.   I had a great time, and who knows maybe I will go back for a "refresher" course one day just to ride in that new boat and have good company to fish with also.   I think from all accounts at the dock we were the only ones taking fish home today when we left.
